Fall 2 – Subtitle: “Echoes Above”

Opening (Prologue – 3 minutes) Three years after the B-67 tower incident. Becky Connor (Grace Caroline Currey cameo) is now more stable, living with her father James (Jeffrey Dean Morgan brief cameo), but still haunted by memories. She occasionally receives strange messages from an unknown number: “You survived once. Will she?” attached with a photo of a massive antenna tower in Thailand – an abandoned transmission tower standing 2100 feet (about 640m) tall, awaiting demolition. Becky deletes it immediately, but the image lingers in her mind.

Act 1 – Introducing the Main Characters New main characters:

• Lena Harper (Harriet Slater): 28 years old, professional rock climber, lost her biological younger sister in a rock-climbing accident two years ago. She blames herself for convincing her sister to join the trip “to overcome her fear.” Lena is now addicted to adrenaline rushes to forget her guilt, but outwardly appears strong and confident.
• Maya Torres (Arsema Thomas): Lena’s best friend, freelance photographer, cheerful and somewhat reckless, always carrying her camera and drone. Maya suffered severe depression after witnessing Lena’s sister’s death but hides it behind smiles.
• Ethan Cole (Tom Brittney): Maya’s older brother, a mechanical engineer, the only one who knows a big secret: Maya and Lena once had a deep conflict because Ethan briefly dated Lena before she chose her climbing career over family. Ethan reluctantly joins the trip to “supervise” his sister.

The trio decides to climb the abandoned transmission tower in the mountains of Thailand (called “Echo Tower”) for these reasons:

• Lena: to scatter her sister’s ashes (a way to “set her soul free”).
• Maya: to film a documentary about “climbing the tallest remaining structure in Southeast Asia” for money and fame.
• Ethan: to prevent them from taking unnecessary risks, but he gets convinced thinking it’s just a “light climb.”

They arrive by rented truck and ascend at sunset. The atmosphere is eerily quiet, wind howling through rusted steel beams. They reach the top – a small platform with an old antenna and a tiny control cabin.

Act 2 – The Disaster Begins As they prepare to descend, the main ladder (worn out) collapses due to strong winds and age. All three are stranded on the platform at 2100 feet. No cell signal (remote area), Maya’s drone gets blown away by wind when tested for contact. They have only 1 liter of water and minimal food (energy bars).

Tension escalates:

• Lena becomes obsessed, talking to her “sister” (mild hallucinations).
• Maya tries to stay positive by filming a “survival vlog” for self-motivation.
• Ethan blames Lena for dragging Maya into this danger, revealing that Lena once abandoned Maya during her breakdown after the sister’s death.

Day two: They spot an old maintenance bag (from a previous crew) stuck on a secondary antenna 40 feet below. Inside are reflective spray paint and an old phone with some battery (no SIM). They improvise a rope to lower Ethan down to retrieve it. Ethan succeeds, but as he climbs back up, a massive local vulture attacks, clawing his hand. Ethan drops the bag, keeping only the old phone.

They use the old phone to record a distress video, attaching a flashing light and dropping it with the broken drone. The video goes viral after a local villager finds it near the base and posts it online.

Act 3 – Twist and Climax Day three: Heavy rain, the platform shakes violently. Lena’s hallucinations worsen – she sees her sister standing on the antenna, accusing her, “You killed me.” Maya tries to comfort her, but Ethan discovers a horrifying detail in Maya’s old footage (from the camera): a scene where Lena and her sister argued fiercely before the accident. The sister said, “If you don’t come with me, I won’t go!” – implying Lena pressured her into the dangerous route to “prove sisterly strength.”

The truth explodes: Lena manipulated her sister, and the accident wasn’t entirely due to wind and rocks; Lena forced her onto a riskier path. Maya knew this secret for a long time but hid it to protect their friendship.

Lena breaks down and confesses everything. Maya, furious, nearly pushes Lena off. Ethan intervenes, but during the struggle, Maya’s safety rope gets severed by a sharp metal edge. Maya falls… but stops 20 feet down, dangling thanks to Ethan’s emergency backup line.

The three work together to pull Maya up. In a life-or-death moment, Lena cuts her own rope to reduce weight, ready to sacrifice herself. But Maya and Ethan refuse – they haul Lena back up. The three embrace and cry in the pouring rain.

Final Twist (in the style of Part 1) As the rescue helicopter arrives (thanks to the viral video), Maya and Ethan are lifted first. Lena, exhausted, looks down and realizes… Maya died on day two. During the attempt to retrieve the bag, Maya was fatally attacked by the vulture, fell onto the secondary antenna, and died instantly. All the arguments, confessions, and hugs afterward… were Lena’s hallucinations.

Lena wakes up on the helicopter, clutching Maya’s old phone (with the final distress video Maya recorded before dying). Ethan sits beside her, eyes red, saying: “She saved you… by letting you believe she was still alive.”

Ending Lena is rescued but carries a new pain. She stands at the graves of her sister and Maya (placed side by side), scattering the remaining ashes. The camera pans upward – a vulture circles, then disappears. The screen fades to black with the sound of howling wind.

Theme: Part 2 emphasizes that the greatest fear isn’t height, but buried guilt and truth. Sometimes survival hurts more than death.
