THE RINGS OF POWER – SEASON 3 (2026)

Season 1 took us back to Middle-earth thousands of years before The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. The fearless Elf Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) relentlessly hunted the rising darkness. She encountered the mysterious and charismatic Halbrand — who was revealed to be Sauron (Charlie Vickers) in disguise. Meanwhile, in the Southlands, humans and Orcs clashed; the mighty kingdom of Númenor began to falter; and in Khazad-dûm, Prince Durin IV (Owain Arthur) and his wife Disa (Sophia Nomvete) faced the dangerous ambitions sparked by mithril.

Season 2 raised the stakes dramatically: Celebrimbor (Charles Edwards) was deceived by Sauron (disguised as Annatar) and forged the 19 Rings of Power for Elves, Dwarves, and Men. Eregion fell in flames. Galadriel finally confronted Sauron’s true nature. Elrond (Robert Aramayo), Gil-galad, and the Elves prepared for the great war ahead. Númenor descended into political chaos. The mysterious Stranger (possibly Gandalf) began his journey. And Sauron now possessed the 9 Rings for Mortal Men — the foundation for the future Nazgûl.

Season 3 – “The Height of the War of the Elves and Sauron”

After a time jump of several years, Season 3 takes place at the peak of the War between the Elves and Sauron. The Dark Lord is no longer hiding. He will pour all his power into forging The One Ring — the ultimate weapon that will give him the edge to conquer all of Middle-earth.

Official storyline: “Jumping forward several years from the events of season two, season three takes place at the height of the War of the Elves and Sauron, as the Dark Lord seeks to craft the One Ring that will give him the edge he needs to win the war and conquer all Middle-earth at last.”

The Rings of Power Season 3 is more than just fantasy — it is a heroic tragedy about ambition, betrayal, sacrifice, and the flickering light of hope in the face of overwhelming darkness. It brings us closer than ever to the legendary events that Peter Jackson portrayed: the Last Alliance, the creation of the One Ring, and the tragic fate of many kingdoms.

Dear Tolkien fans, whether you love or criticize this adaptation, you can’t deny its massive scale and ambition. This is a rare chance to truly “live” in the Second Age in the most detailed way possible on screen.
